The Center for Africa Development and Progress (CADeP) has issued a resolute declaration warning that the global community cannot afford to remain passive observers while the foundational tenets of national sovereignty are dismantled.

In our contemporary geopolitical landscape, the principles of non-interference, territorial integrity, and the right of nations to determine their political and economic destinies are facing unprecedented pressure. Africa, with its historical memory of imperial subjugation and foreign meddling, understands all too well the profound costs of dismantled sovereignty.

"Sovereignty is not a privilege dispensed by dominant global powers; it is an inalienable right of sovereign peoples under international law and the UN Charter."

CADeP urges the United Nations, the African Union, and democratic institutions across the globe to uphold the rule of law unconditionally. Global peace and human progress are impossible without mutual respect, multipolar diplomacy, and accountability among all sovereign states.

We call on leaders and citizens across the African continent to foster continental unity and resist foreign machinations that seek to compromise regional security and self-determination.
