The Center for Africa Development and Progress (CADeP) has issued an official statement expressing heartfelt condolences to the nation upon the passing of former First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.
In a statement signed by Executive Chairman Johanes Koku Nyagblordzro, CADeP recognized Mrs. Agyeman-Rawlings as a trailblazer who transformed the socio-political status of African women through the 31st December Women’s Movement, maternal health advocacy, and child protection statutes.
"Nana Konadu’s fearless defense of women’s empowerment created an indelible blueprint for civic mobilization and political leadership across Africa."
CADeP joins all Ghanaians in paying homage to a life dedicated to national transformation and grassroots empowerment.
